| The translation of news plays an important role in cross-cultural communication.As one of the difficulties in translation,culture-loaded words should be highly valued by translators.How to translate culture-loaded words accurately is of great significance to better disseminate Chinese culture and improve the soft power of Chinese culture.In the 1970 s,German scholars proposed functionalist translation theory,which regarded translation as intercultural communication behavior,and shifted the center of translation from language equivalence to language communicative function.At present,the application of functionalist theory to the study of culture-loaded words in the field of Japanese translation has achieved certain results,but it is often limited to literary works as the research object,and the study of network news texts as the research object is relatively weak.Therefore,this thesis combines functionalist translation theory to study the Japanese translation of culture-loaded words in online news.This thesis mainly consists of three parts: the first part firstly is to sort out the functionalist translation theory and explain its guiding role in the study of online news translation;secondly is to study the definition,classification and characteristics of culture-loaded words.The second part firstly puts forward specific translation methods suitable for the Japanese translation of culture-loaded words in online news;secondly,from the perspective of Skopos theory,combined with a large number of examples,summarizes the Japanese translation strategies of various culture-loaded words in network news;thirdly,discusses the purpose and function of foreignizing strategy.The third part analyses the specific factors affecting the Japanese translation of culturally loaded words from both Chinese and Japanese languages and cultures. |
