1949-1966 Research On The Development Of Fine Arts In Jilin Province

The founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949 marked a new historical period for China.With the tremendous changes in social nature and national system,the political movement,economic construction and social development background of the country have exerted a far-reaching impact on art creation activities throughout the countryIn the early days of the founding of New China,the appearance of Jilin Province's art creation field was closely related to the historical environment,political background and the state's eonstruction of the art system at that time.Under the guidance of the national literary and artistic policy,Jilin Province has adjusted the structure of artistic creation.Artists from scratch,from weak to strong,inherited the unique cultural background of Guandong Province,and carried on systematic inheritance,reform and innovation of artistic creation.In the field of art in Jilin Province,a number of excellent works reflecting real life and corresponding to the times and regions have emerged,forming a unique style of art creation in Jilin ProvinceBy consulting a large number of historical documents,it has been counted that from 1949 to 1966,there were 83 art exhibitions of various scales and types held in Jilin Province.Among them,the more representative is the "Jilin Art Exhibition" which has held five sessions,which is the most representative exhibition of the development of Jilin art in the early days of the founding of New China.Taking the Fifth "Jilin Province Art Exhibition" as an example,this paper explores the development and achievements of Jilin Province's art creation from 1949 to 1966.In the Fifth Exhibition,the achievements of the Fourth "Jilin Province Art Exhibition" are the most prominent.In the Fourth "Jilin Province Art Exhibition",a group of regional-based professional creators and a group of representative works of Art emerged,taking this as a breakthrough point,proceeding in detail.Through in-depth analysis,the works in the exhibition reflect the important historical stage of Jilin Province's art creation from 1949 to 1966.
