The opera "Qiuzi" is the first official opera in China.It comes from a true story published in Ta Kung Pao in April 1938.It took three years for Chen Dingxian to create "Gong Yi and Qiuzi" and Huang Yuanluo to rename the opera music "Qiuzi",which is a novel with the theme of anti-war aggression based on the western opera composing method.The positive opera of color has an epoch-making significance in the history of Chinese opera.The play takes the Japanese comfort woman Akiko as the hero,and the love tragedy caused by the separation from her newly married husband Miyagi because of the outbreak of the war as the theme,which shows the distinct theme of anti-war aggression.In the 1930 s and 1940 s,China was in a special historical period of blending humanism culture,revolutionary culture and anti-Japanese culture,and the development of Chinese opera was at an early stage.There are a lot of previous works as a reference and no imitation of Western opera creation,but the creative team of "Qiuzi" found and captured the bold creation of opera as a genre,taking music as the main means of expression of opera,emphasizing a musical means to depict the characters and personality characteristics.The creation of "Autumn Son" has gone through years of verification,and its artistic charm is still worth pondering and charming after 70 years.After its first performance in Chongqing in 1942,it has had a far-reaching impact.In 2014,the production,arrangement and re-interpretation of the opera "Autumn Son" by Nanjing Institute of Art made people re-recognize that the opera has produced a strong social impact.Concern,with strong Western characteristics.In this paper,the artistic value of "Qiuzi" is further studied from the artistic characteristics and singing style.
