Since the 20 th century,with the continuous development of Bel Canto education in China,more and more Chinese people have made remarkable achievements on the world opera stage.With the continuous emergence of Chinese singers,a growing number of Western operas are slowly coming into eyes and ears of the general public,and they are also beginning to be popularized in professional teaching in schools.People are gradually familiar with some classical arias,including the object of this paper,the aria“Chi il bel sogon di Doretta”in ?La Rondine?,composed by Puccini.The aria “Chi il bel sogon di Doretta is one of Puccini's operas ?La Rondine?.As an enduring aria,it is a classic work reflecting the singer's superb skills,and it has a high singing status and artistic value all over the world.It is characterized by beautiful melody,rigorous and regular harmony,delicate and deep emotion,rich and varied instruments and concise and clear structure.Therefore,the aria“Chi il bel sogon di Doretta”in ?La Rondine? has also become one of the author's favorite works in school.To grasp the western aria,we need not only high technical support,but also strong cognitive ability,including emotional cognition,character grasp and building,the treatment of aria and other aspects.In this paper,the author tries to link these aspects together,starting from the literature review,video and audio watching and personal experience of performing it,to explore the aria from the sound to emotion from "hardware" to "software" in a multilevel and all-round way,trying to make an objective and characteristic analysis of the aria“Chi il bel sogon di Doretta”.
