Research On Su Shi's Plum Poems

Since the Book of Songs and Chuci,various plants have appeared in a large number of literati's poems.These plant images either stir the poet's thoughts and feelings as a stimulus or inject the poet's emotional aspirations as an analogy.It has become a great tradition of Chinese literature for literati to introduce plants into poetry.But whether in the Book of Songs or in Chuci,it is almost impossible to find plum blossoms.From the beginning of plum imagery into poetry to the rapid rise of status in the Song Dynasty,it has undergone a long process,in which Su Shi played an irreplaceable role.This article takes Su Shi's poems on plum as the text,combines the social and cultural background of Song Dynasty and Su Shi's life experience to make a concrete analysis of the text,and combs the context of Su Shi's previous poems on Plum in the process of analysis,in order to highlight Su Shi's position in the development of plum poems.This paper is divided into three chapters:In the introduction part,the research results of Su Shi's poems on plum are simply sorted out to summarize the achievements of predecessors,point out the shortcomings,and explain the purpose and significance of the study.Chapter one analyses the background of Su Shi's poems on plum,which is divided into two parts: social background and literary background.Social background will affect the poet's personality,hobbies and ways of thinking,and will inevitably have a profound impact on literary creation.The social background is mainly analyzed from the following three aspects: the political environment of accumulation of poverty and weakness,the continuous struggle of the Party;the living condition of the scholar,the strong economy;the Buddhist and Taoist thought of "heart-oriented" and "emphasizing hearts but neglecting shapes".Under the influence of these social environments,plum blossom was valued by the scholars of Song Dynasty.Analysising in Shen Yue's theory of "three changes in style",the image of "plum" has undergone three changes in literary works.Although Mei was not paid attention to before Song Dynasty,the development of literature is a process from quantitative change to qualitative change.As the cornerstone of the poems chanting plum before Song Dynasty,its analysis is essential.The second chapter analyses the emotional content of Su Shi's poems on plum.Firstly,it defines Yongmei poems according to Yongwu poems and defines the research scope.Secondly,according to the emotional content,classify the poems of chanting plum.Su Shi's poems of chanting plum are mainly divided into three categories,one is simply writing plum,the other is blending scenes,embodying his emotions in the poems,and the other isexpressing his ambition and moral pursuit through writing plum.Then the political connotation of Su Shi's poems on plum as a whole is analyzed in comparison with his political career.Finally,through the above analysis,excavate the national character contained in the image of plum.The third chapter analyses Su Shi's literary outlook in his poems on plum.As one of the leaders of the Song Dynasty poetry circle,Su Shi has relatively comprehensive and systematic literary ideas,which are embodied in his plum-chanting poems.By analyzing the literary views in plum-chanting poems,we can have a deeper understanding of Su Shi's literary ideas and literary competence.This article divides Su Shi's literary view into four points: first,the artistic conception of "wonderful conception and leisure",the premise of which is to achieve the state of "quiet",It embodies in the concrete text is the imaginative speed.Secondly,The Creative Principle of Shaping with Things.Su Shi believes that chanting poems should be created after they have a good understanding of things.Therefore,his chanting poems attach equal importance to both form and spirit,which is reflected in his chanting poems of plum,in which he put forward the concept of " The Character of Plum Blossom ".Thirdly,we must grasp the characteristics of things in order to make things vivid.The characteristics of plum are its branches and color and fragrance.Fourthly,the creative spirit of the "impossible law" should have its own innovative points in the specific creation of literature,which can be divided into two main points: using the old classics to create new ideas and using the text as poetry.Thirdly,we must grasp the characteristics of things in order to make things vivid.The characteristics of plum are its branches,color and fragrance.Fourthly,the creative spirit of the "impossible law" should have its own innovative points in the specific creation of literature,which can be divided into two main points: using the old classics to create new ideas and using the text as poetry.
