In the early Tang Dynasty,it was a very common social phenomenon for Wangfu to recruit literati to engage in literary activities.After the unification of the Tang Dynasty,the emperors of the Tang Dynasty began to attach importance to the development of literature as a criterion for judging the emperor.Under such a political background,in order to consolidate his position,Fanwang began to recruit a large number of literati to increase his influence.The Tang Dynasty attaches great importance to Literature and political initiatives,but also let the literati have a high enthusiasm for becoming an official.Under the influence of social,political,cultural and other factors,Wangfu literati group gradually formed,and influenced the development of early Tang literature through its own literary activities.Throughout the whole literature of the early Tang Dynasty,there was no grand literary atmosphere and unprecedented prosperity of poetry and prose creation in the flourishing Tang Dynasty.However,it is undeniable that the literature of the early Tang Dynasty gradually reversed the flowery literary style of the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties and laid a good foundation for the prosperous Tang poetry.These are inseparable from the influence of the literary activities of the Imperial Palace at that time.Therefore,the study of the Imperial Palace and literature in the early Tang Dynasty can better see the transformation process of the literature of the early Tang Dynasty.This article is mainly based on the relationship between the Imperial Palace and literature in the Gaozongperiod,and explores the influence of the Imperial Palace on literature in the early Tang Dynasty.The study of the Imperial Palace and literature in Gaozong period is mainly carried out in the following aspects:The first part: This part mainly traces back to the origin of theImperial Palace system.Firstly,it traces back to the history of the style of supporting scholars in the imperial palace.Secondly,it introduces the existing system of the Imperial Palace in the Tang Dynasty.Finally,it explores the reasons why the Imperial Palace recruited scholars in the early Tang Dynasty and why the scholars entered the Imperial Palace from three aspects of politics,culture and society.That is to say,it explores the various factors that led to the formation of the Chinese group in the imper.The second part: This part mainly takes the imperial palace of Gaozong period as the unit,carries on the textual research to the Imperial Palace recruitment literati’s life,and combs and analyses the literary activities of the vassal king and the literati in the imperial palace.During this period,there were Dai Wangfu,Pei Wangfu and Zhou Wangfu,which recruited scholars to carry out a large number of literary activities.Therefore,this part mainly discussed the literary activitiesof these three Wangfu,supplemented by the literary activities of other Wangfu.The third part: This part takes the imperial palace of Gaozong period as a microcosm,and synthesizes the above analysis of Fanwang and his literary and humanistic activities to explore the influence of the literary activities of the Imperial Palace in the early Tang Dynasty on the literary development at that time.Emphasis is laid on the analysis of the role,value and significance of Wangfu literary activities in the development of literature from Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties to the prosperous Tang Dynasty.This paper takes the Imperial Palace in Gaozong period as the starting point,investigates the reasons for the formation of the political literati group in the early Tang Dynasty,and explores the influence of the literary activities of the Imperial Palace on the development of the literature in the early Tang Dynasty through sorting out and analyzing the activities of the literati in the early Tang Dynasty.
