Research On The Lexicalization Of Chinese "V_?+?" And The Evolution Of Its Meaning

The lexicalization of cross-level structure is a special linguistic phenomenon in Chinese,which refers to the process in which two components adjacent to each other in a linear sequence,under the action of a series of mechanisms,synthesize words across the original syntactic hierarchy."V_?+?"is a kind of cross-layer structure,in which"V_?+?"initially forms a prepositional phrase and then ACTS as a complement to the verb"V_?".Due to the action of multiple mechanisms,"?"gradually transcends the original syntactic level,and the verb"V_?"in front is close to each other,and finally condenses into a two-syllable word"X?".After the completion of lexicalization,some words continue to be grammaticalized and develop into prepositions,adverbs,conjunctions and other function words.This paper,by combining description and interpretation,Outlines the lexicalization and grammaticalization path of"V_?+?"on the basis of corpus,summarizes the lexicalization and grammaticalization mechanism,and summarizes the characteristics of the evolution of"V_?+?".This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the"introduction",which mainly introduces the research purpose,research significance and research methods,and summarizes the current research status,and explains the establishment of the research scope.The second part is"the lexicalization of"V_?+?"structure".In analyzing 16 single"V_?+?"disyllable words,namely"??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??""??",usually connected to a specific research into their original s,the term path and lexicalization,mature lexicalization s logo.After that,this paper summarizes the mechanisms that influence the lexicalization of"V_?+?",including two-tone prosody,decategorization,chunking psychology,metaphor mechanism and reanalysis.Finally,this paper discusses the two"V_?+?"lexicalization problems that are still controversial in the academic circle.The third part is"the grammaticalization of‘V_?'".In this paper,by a single"V_?+?"vocabulary into a"X?"(for clarity,will cross layer structure"V_?+?"lexicalization after the dual tone of"X?"in the word unified writing format)of the nine functional grammaticalization process is analyzed,in order to further falsified into the"??""??""??""??""??""??",falsified into the"??""??""??"grammaticalization process,concrete analysis of their grammaticalization path,grammaticalization matures,grammaticalization signs as well as the evolution of word meanings.After that,the mechanisms that influence the grammaticalization of"X?"are summarized,including the change of syntactic environment and the mechanism of analogy.Finally,four"X?"grammaticalization problems that are still controversial in the academic community are discussed.The fourth part is the evolution characteristics of"V_?+?".On t he basis of a diachronic analysis of the lexicalization of"V_?+?"an d the grammatification of"X?",this paper extracts the general cha racteristics of lexicalization and grammatification,namely long-term,unbalanced and co-existence,and explains them respectively.The fifth part is the conclusion.This paper summarizes the main contents of the research and briefly enumerates the characteristics of this paper different from other similar research.
