The English Curriculum Standards for Senior High School puts forward higher requirements for senior high school students' English writing ability.Evaluation is an indispensable part of English writing teaching.Students' English writing ability will be directly or indirectly affected by the evaluation methods.However,in current senior high school,most of teachers still adopt teacher feedback.This evaluation method lacks of vitality and efficiency,which can not enhance the students' autonomy and interest in writing,thus leading to the high school students' English writing ability can not be effectively improved.Based on this,choosing a reasonable and efficient way of writing evaluation is necessary.Teacher-Student Collaborative Assessment(abbreviated as TSCA)is a new evaluation form created by “production-oriented approach”,which aims to solve the problems of low efficiency and poor effect of evaluation.It provides the operating framework and operating principles for teachers,and it can balance a variety of evaluation methods and improve the efficiency of writing evaluation,so that students' learning autonomy and enthusiasm can be fully exerted.TSCA can not only make the whole evaluation process more complete,but also make the evaluation results more reasonable and accurate.To sum up,this study applies the TSCA to continuation task in senior high school to explore its effectiveness.In this study,two parallel classes in the second year of senior high school in Gaomi City were selected as the research objects,and the two classes were randomly divided into control class and experimental class.This research adopts the methods of experiment and questionnaire,and makes quantitative and qualitative analysis on the relevant data to explore the following two research questions:(1)Can the TSCA improve high school students' English writing ability? What are the specific effects?(2)What is the attitude of students towards the TSCA?Through sorting out and analyzing the relevant data,the main findings of this study are as follows:(1)Compared with teacher feedback,the TSCA can improve students' English writing performance and writing ability.The TSCA can effectively improve students' writing performance in vocabulary,grammar,content and structure,especially in grammar.(2)The TSCA can enhance students' interest in writing,alleviate writing anxiety and improve their writing ability.Most of the students are positive about it.Finally,in view of the problems in the process of teaching practice and the conclusions ofthe research,the author puts forward some teaching suggestions,in order to provide reference for the application of TSCA in English writing teaching in senior high school.
