| During the Kang Qian period,the Jiang family in Jintan was a famous family in southern Jiangsu.The three generations,represented by Jiang Heng,Jiang Ji and Jiang He,attached great importance to the humanities education,inherited the family learning,inherited the law,and made outstanding achievements in calligraphy,printing and calligraphy theory.In the early Qing Dynasty,the Jiang family had a lot of experience in the study of calligraphy.At the same time,driven by the new epigraphy,they paid attention to the evaluation of Han steles and Tang steles,which were mainly reflected in Jiangheng’s restoring ancient steles,Jiangji’s eubook praying and Jianghe’s praising Han and Li,which had a positive impact on the opening and promotion of the study of Steles in the Qing Dynasty.Jiang’s three people are diligent in calligraphy writing and teaching,and their views on calligraphy are neutral and dialectic,which are mainly embodied in Jiang Heng’s "establishing products to end their roots",Jiang Ji’s "the law is in harmony with the ancient,but the appearance conforms to the present",and Jiang He’s "seeking perfection in the law and winning outside the law".It played a continuous and effective role in the promotion of calligraphy and the construction of local humanities,and occupied a place in the history of calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty. |
