| To strengthen the examination of the value of sports culture is helpful to uncover the unique charm of sports activities,to explain the reasons why sports are popular among the masses,and to help the construction and realization of the dream of becoming a great nation in sports in China.At the same time,sports film is an important means of sports culture communication.Moreover,it is an important window to observe the sports culture of different countries.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the sports culture of different countries with sports film as the carrier.At present,scholars have devoted a great deal of attention to the study of Chinese and American sports movies,but little attention has been paid to the study of Japanese sports movies.China and Japan are both Asian countries,and they have many similarities in terms of race,culture,physical ability,and so on.Although Japan is a small country,it has remarkable achievements in competitive sports,mass sports and school sports.Among them,sports for all has reached the world’s leading level.so the Comparative Study of Chinese and Japanese sports films from the perspective of culture is of great significance.Based on the investigation of Internet plot and Film Review,90 Japanese sports films and 104 Chinese sports films were obtained by eliminating the irrelevant films such as repetition,micro-films and documentaries.The time span is from 1980 s to the present,and then the time division is made by 10 years.40 Chinese and 40 Japanese sports films are selected by random sampling.The first compares and summarizes the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese sports film culture in sports events,film types,script sources,cultural connotation,cultural characteristics,cultural functions and cultural values using the methods of literature review,Comparative Analysis and Video Observation.The second to compare the similarities and differences of sports culture between China and Japan.To conclude:(1)The Characteristics of Sports Culture: The sports culture in Chinese sports movies is more associated with such elements as competition for titles,fame,athletes,coaches and sports meet,and patriotism,competition,seriousness and dream are the cultural characteristics that we show.Japanese sports movies Combine Sports with animation,campus,youth,first loveand so on.Relaxed,warm-blooded,youth and inspiration are their sports cultural characteristics.(2)Sports Cultural Connotation: China has shown the patriotic spirit of "folk hero" as the main cultural connotation,Japanese sports film has shown the never-give-up "cartoon hero" as the main cultural connotation.(3)The value of sports culture: from the national level to the individual level,China has experienced the value of political propaganda,the value of confidence-building,the value of realizing dreams and the value of transcending oneself.Japan has experienced the cultural value of love and being loved,the value of carrying forward the traditional sports culture,the cultural value of carrying forward the dominant sports and the cultural value of self-identity.(4)Sports Culture Function: Although the two countries in the function of sports culture highlight the culture of education function,competition function,entertainment function,political function and healthy psychological function,but the focus of the function is different.Japan focuses on the healthy psychological function of sports culture,while China focuses on the competitive and educational functions of sports culture.According to the conclusion,the author puts forward some suggestions to perfect the sports culture in Chinese sports movies:(1)Break through the convention,into new elements,the use of a variety of film performance forms.(2)Keep pace with the times,close to life,pay attention to show the pluralistic connotation of sports culture.(3)Humanism has made people oriented values the core output of sports culture.(4)Strengthening the display of "healthy psychological function" of sports culture in films.Through the comparative analysis of 40 Japanese sports movies and 40 Chinese sports movies,We can sum up the differences between the two countries in the connotation,characteristics,values and functions of sports culture in sports movies.The comparison and analysis of sports culture can lay a theoretical foundation for the sports culture of China and Japan,Which is helpful to the communication,exchange and development of sports culture between China and Japan.It opens up more perspectives for the effective dissemination of China’s sports culture in sports films and provides a brand-new thinking direction for the Scientific Research Personnel of sports film in our country.By deeply understanding the relationship between sports culture and sports industry,it is helpful to promote the construction of sports power in China. |
