Our country is in the period of moving to the sports power.General Xi Jinping has proposed to carry out the national fitness campaign extensively so that people will have strong enthusiasm for the sport.To become sports power,we need to improve the comprehensive strength in all aspects,expand people's anticipation and awareness in the sports.Art gymnastics,as a unpopular project has gradually moved to public's vision through various ways.The graduation project My Dream of Rhythmic Gymnastics is a special sports program that aims to convey the dream of rhythmic gymnastics and present rhythmic gymnastics,an unpopular sports event in China.“Dream” runs through the whole feature film.By filming training daily of Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Team of Pudong New Area of Shanghai,this program reproduces team members making preparations for the City Games Competition in the front and behind the scenes and expresses the dream of rhythmic gymnasts,coaches and the development of China's rhythmic gymnastics.To some extent,this feature film represents training status and development trend at the grass-roots level of China's rhythmic gymnastics.The shooting of Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics of Pudong New Area of Shanghai reveals the training status of local rhythmic gymnastics of Shanghai in the new era,popularizes the program of rhythmic gymnastics,conveys the dream of rhythmic gymnastics and passes the positive energy of sports.In the aspect of theoretical study,this film combines creative ideas and characteristics of the feature film and applies documentary of the past,showing both the accuracy of news and aesthetics of art.TV documentary is characterized by the combination of sound and picture.Language application plays an important role in making TV documentary.A good feature film generally requires perfect combination of excellent language application and pictures,and the part of language becomes an important guide for audiences to appreciate and to understand contents of the work.By taking the graduation project My Dream of Rhythmic Gymnastics as an example,this paper explores the language application in feature film based on actual shooting and production,analyzes and discusses the creation and application of language in feature film from several aspects,including the relation between languages and pictures in feature film,the feature film host's language application and expression and creation characteristics of commentary language in feature film.
