Emotion is an individual's attitude experience and corresponding behavior response to objective things, and emotion must involve the adjustment of emotion.Among the factors that affect emotion regulation,in addition to gender, age, personality and cultural factors, the level of cognitive control ability may also be an important reason for individual differences in the effects of emotion regulation and the use of emotion regulation strategies. This thesis first explores the role of cognitive control in emotion regulation through two experiments, analyzes the relationship between the three sub-components of cognitive control and different emotion regulation strategies, and examines the existence of emotional regulation effects in people with high and low cognitive control abilities The difference, and then,as the teaching content of emotional adjustment training incorporating cognitive control as a teaching content, designed a mental health education class, applied exploration to investigate the actual teaching effect. In Experiment 1,111 college students were selected to complete the AX-CPT,2-back and Simon tasks and the Emotion Regulation Strategy Questionnaire(ERQ)to explore the relationship between the three sub-components of cognitive control and the two strategies of emotion regulation. It was found that cognitive reassessment strategies were significantly positively correlated with flexible transfer and working memory refresh, and expression suppression strategies were significantly negatively correlated with flexible transfer and significantly positively correlated with inhibitory control. It is speculated that cognitive reassessment and expression suppression strategies have different cognitive foundations. In order to continue to explore whether individuals with different cognitive control abilities have differences in the effects of emotional regulation. The total cognitive control responses of all subjects in Experiment 1 were ranked from low to high, and the subjects were divided into high cognitive control group(first 27%)and low cognitive control group(last 27%),screening 44 Participants participated in Experiment 2.Participants were required to use three emotion regulation methods(cognitive reassessment, expression inhibition, and attention transfer)to regulate negative emotions, and to evaluate the valence and arousal of the regulated emotions. The results found that the high-cognitive control group had significantly higher emotional valence scores than the low-cognitive control group after using three emotional strategies: cognitive reassessment, expression suppression, and attention shift, indicating that individuals with high cognitive control ability had emotional regulation. The effect is better;on the contrary, the regulation effect is poor, and cognitive control is an important cognitive factor that affects emotion regulation. Finally,On the application of emotion regulation training method integrated into cognitive control task in education and teaching.Selecting 43 second-year students in a high school to explore whether the small game with cognitive control training can be incorporated into emotional adjustment training in a mental health course with emotional adjustment as the teaching theme, whether it can receive better training results.According to the results of the self-edited classroom feedback questionnaire,it can be seen that the students are more satisfied with the mental health class with emotional adjustment as the teaching theme. The emotion regulation training integrated into the cognitive control task is helpful for students to understand the knowledge of emotion regulation and improve their ability of emotion regulation by improving their cognitive control ability.
