Research And Creation Of Aquatic Plants In Chinese Meticulous Flower And Bird Paintings

Aquatic plants,with rich unique spiritual connotation,are one of the important themes in Chinese realistic flowers and birds painting.This theme enriches the expression method of realistic flowers and birds painting.Combined with the analysis of works in different times and my creative experience,this article attempts to analysis the characteristics of aquatic plants,explore the method of expressing the specific theme of aquatic plants in realistic flowers and birds painting.Analyze several works that have great influence on my works,and talk about the understanding from them.People often compare a gentleman’s personality with aquatic plants,such as the noble like Narcissus and elegant like orchid in chinese culture.There are many works depicting aquatic plants in the history of painting.Most of them focus on the case study of a certain painter or the study of his auspicious implication and performance techniques,but relatively few systematic studies on this kind of painting theme.Therefore,this article has more practical significance for the in-depth understanding and creative research on aquatic plants.This article mainly discusses the connotation of aquatic plants through the interpretation of works created with aquatic plants in multiple time periods.This article analyzes the significance and spiritual connotation of the expression of aquatic plant schema in detail,combined with my own practical and creative experience,as well as my understanding of shape,color and space.
