The track of Sichuan Panzi“Three Daughters-in-law Fighting for Their Mother-in-law",which composed by Li Jingming and lyrics written by Xiong Ju in 1982,was awarded the second prize for creativity and the first prize for performance in report-back performances of southern area of national folk art programmes of excellence.This opera developed and created in the original melody of Panzi“Picking Cucumbers" and "Melody of Muddle" by utilizing the tune-clustering,which preserved the charms of Sichuan Panzi and expanded the primary short sections of minor-like,and meanwhile,roles,plots and stories were added to this opera on the basis of original singing of Sichuan Panzi.The composition "Three Daughters-in-law Fighting for Their Mother-in-law" was similar to a small musical after expanding,and became more abundant in voices and actings.The distinctive character of roles,the unique flavour of singing and the first-class performance made the style and taste of this opera out-standing extraordinarily.It will go a long way towards our traditional vocal musics and singings if analyze its intensional meaning and use it as a reference.
