Mountains in Provence is one of Cezanne's late works,which is relatively representative in landscape paintings,and his exploration and achievements in landscape paintings can be reflected here.through the work as the breakthrough point of the small,further exploring how landscape painting and classical rational impressionist unique humanity,by Cezanne,combing fill of classicism and impressionist criticism and reconstruction,the criticism of landscape paintings based on his dissatisfaction with both the classical and impressionism,on the other hand,he also absorb and draw lessons from the experience of classical and impressionist.This paper will also take Cezanne's other works as an example and make a vertical comparison with classicism and a horizontal comparison with the contemporary impressionism.Finally,this paper narrate the influence of color factors and clear line formation in Cezanne's art on his personal creation,and then integrate it into his own oil painting practice.
