Civil Law Protection Of "user Usage Status" Personal Information

With the rapid development of electronic communication and Internetwork,personal information has been widely disseminated and utilized.People are becoming more and more dependent on information,therefore,the status of personal information is increasingly prominent.While the information society brings us great convenience,the problem of personal information being leaked and abused also follows,and becomes more and more serious.Personal information has become the most important commodity in today's society.Therefore,how to solve the legal protection of personal information in the information age is particularly important.It is against this background that the article takes the case of starting up reminder heard by the supreme people's court as the research entry point,and puts forward that we should attach importance to the protection of personal information such as "user's use status" in order to protect the rights and interests of telecommunication users.Firstly,in terms of content arrangement,the case of startup reminder leads to the problems revealed in the case,and explains the "user's use status".Secondly,it gives an overview of personal information,including the concept of personal information and the characteristics of personal information,as well as the relationship between personal information and personal privacy.Thirdly,the qualitative analysis of "user's use status" is carried out,that is,"user's use status" belongs to personal information or personal privacy,and the personal information attributes of "user's use status" are elaborated.Furthermore,the legitimacy of the protection of personal information under the user's use status is analyzed.Finally,this paper introduces the current legislative situation of personal information protection for telecom users in China,and points out the existing problems,and some suggestions are put forward to improve the protection of personal information of telecom users.
