Modernization and urbanization are the major trends in the development of human society. In recent years, with the rapid development of China's urbanization construction, the pace of urban renewal and transformation has been accelerating, along with the land acquisition and demolition work is being carried out in a leaping manner. The land acquisition and demolition work involves the vital interests of the government, the demolition party, and the relocated households. It is the basic work of urban development and touches on the most basic housing rights of urban and rural residents. In the face of demolition, some residents are looking forward to their hopes, some residents are hesitant, some residents are reluctant, some residents are deeply closed. When the demolition project faces the possibility of accepting the demolition, the attitude of the residents from "resistance" to "willing to dismantle" is changed. What are the influencing factors in the middle? This will be the main issue discussed in this paper. This paper takes the demolition process of the W village demolition project in M city as an example. On the basis of field research, the government, the relocated households and the grassroots cadres of W village are the main bodies, and the demolition is divided into three parts:before demolition, demolition and demolition. The process analyzes the reactions and actions of the three main bodies at each stage, and discusses the influencing factors of residents from "resisting demolition”to" willing to dismantle”.The study found that the reason why demolition can be successful is inseparable from three factors.First, the relocation of households to meet the economic benefits. The second is the guidance of the relocation work, and the third is the coordinated work of grassroots cadres. In addition, from the change of residents' attitude towards demolition,it reveals the emotional changes of residents from perceptual to rational in the process of demolition, psychological identification of residents' transition from rural communities to urban communities, the choice of the demolition households' demolition problem depends on the rational trade-off between emotion and interest and the strong official-centered thinking of' Chinese social public rights.
