| The 18 th CPC National Congress has set the overall task to create a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way,accelerate the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.A great cause calls for a great party.In a ruling environment with opportunities and challenges,old and new problems,and growing tests risks,Party supervision assumes great importance.Comrade Xi Jinping is far-sighted and has carried out intra-Party supervision through inspection tours to promote the comprehensive and strict Party management and strengthen the Party building.Xi stresses Party’s inspection and supervision and has made a series of important speeches,instructions,requests and suggestions in this regard,which constitutes Xi’s thought on inspection and supervision.The paper is divided into two parts: the introduction and the body.The introduction describes the research background,research significance,domestic and overseas research status,research ideas and methods,research innovations and deficiencies,and definitions of related concepts.The body contains four parts which respectively discuss the background,theoretical origin,main content and characteristics,contemporary value,and summary and outlook of Xi’s thought on inspection and supervision.The first chapter of the body presents the historical background of Xi’s inspection and supervision from international,domestic and intra-Partystandpoints,providing the realistic basis for the formation of the theory;meanwhile,it reviews the theoretical origin of Xi’s thought on inspection and supervision,thoughts on intra-Party supervision by Marx,Engels and Lenin,theories of inspection and supervision and critical inheritances of ancient inspection and supervision by the main leaders of China,which all together constitute the theoretical origin of Xi’s thought on inspection and supervision and become the practical basis for the formation of this thought.The second chapter analyzes and summarizes the main content and characteristics of Xi’s thought on inspection and supervision,which are the core part of the paper.In the new era,Xi has written a new chapter in inspection and supervision and given intra-Party supervision new meaning.The third chapter expounds the contemporary value of Xi’s thought on inspection and supervision from the perspectives of practice and theory.Xi’s thought on inspection and supervision is the latest theoretical result of the development of Marx theory in China and has exerted positive effects on the state and the Party.In the end,the paper makes a summary and outlook.Xi’s thought on inspection and supervision will be enriched and advanced with the deepening of the inspection work. |
