China's internet penetration rate has exceeded 60 percent.In the context of big data,the protection of Internet privacy should be a long-term action,which should build a good Internet environment and actively protect the privacy rights of information with international cooperation.The objects of traditional privacy protection can be divided into private space,private activities,private information,and the protection of private life.With the popularity of the Internet,all of them are stored by electronic data.Different source of date needs different degree of protection.Internet privacy needs to protect the open,collection and use of nonpublic data.The need of Internet privacy protection endows privacy subjects with the rights of anonymity and being forgotten on the Internet.In addition to the illegal collection and processing of Internet privacy data,the freedom of speech in the Internet is also a major way to violate Internet privacy.Both the US model of industry self-regulation and the EU model of legislation have advantages and disadvantages.China should strengthen the protection of Internet privacy,cooperate,and protect Internet privacy under the framework of the United Nations,strengthen the ability to conclude bilateral treaties and strengthen the self-discipline of China's Internet industry.
