The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to ideological construction,and since entering the new era,the rampant trend of various non-mainstream social thoughts,especially the historical nihilism,relying on a certain social background,has reemerged and has some new manifestations and characteristics,which has brought many challenges to the ideological work and weakened the ideological leading power of the CPC to a certain extent.This situation has attracted great attention from the CPC central committee with Xi Jinping as the core.The ideological leading power of the CPC in colleges and universities is an important grasp for colleges and universities to fulfill their duties and missions in the new era,and is also the fundamental guarantee for running a socialist university with Chinese characteristics well.In order to compete for the right of discourse of Marxist ideology in colleges and universities,the spread of historical nihilism in colleges and universities is mainly aimed at students and faculty groups,with strong political purpose,interesting contents and hidden ways of transmission,which brings great harm.It impacts the subject of ideological guidance,so that the ideological leading power of the CPC in colleges and universities is weakened to a certain extent.This result is the result of the change of the social environment since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,the weakening of the function of the CPC organization in colleges and universities and the lack of ideological work,and the difficulty of integrating the control with the spread law of historical nihilism.To resist historical nihilism and strengthen the ideological leading power of the CPC in colleges and universities requires the joint efforts of all aspects of colleges and universities.First of all,it is necessary to give full play to the cohesive role of the party organizations in colleges and universities,build up the fighting fortress of the grassroots party organizations in colleges and universities,and give play to the special function of the party organizations in colleges and universities.Secondly,we should give full play to the responsibility of educating students in the whole process and build a harmonious campus culture.Thirdly,give full play to the positive leading role of college teachers;Finally,through strengthening the discrimination of college students to fundamentally resist historical nihilism.
