For all to see,science and technology is the key to open the door to today’s world economic development.As early as Deng Xiaoping,China put forward the idea of revitalizing the country through science and education.Therefore,improving the scientific literacy of citizens is the basis for promoting the development of science and technology.It is necessary to popularize scientific knowledge to students at the stage of compulsory education,and to cultivate students’ scientific literacy from an early age.This article analyses the similarities and differences of the two edition of the primary school science textbooks from the multi angle and comprehensive analysis of the primary science textbooks published by the Chinese Soviet education edition and the national Ministry of education of Egypt.This study mainly uses literature research,text analysis and comparative study.First,it introduces the general situation of education in Egypt,and then compares the contents of "air" unit in the two edition of the textbook from four aspects:arrangement structure,content selection and form setting.Further from the breadth,depth,specific content of the content,as well as chapter setting,column analysis,new knowledge introduction,visual symbols and other microscopic angles of analysis.From the selection of "air",the selection of the content of the Soviet version is simple and easy to understand,the content selection of the Egyptian edition is limited but abstruse.From the form of the unit arrangement,the section of the Soviet edition is good at using the questions in series of chapters,and using the materials in daily life to carry out simple operation in the textbook.The hands-on activity.In the Egyptian version chapters,it is good at using pictures and texts to show each other,and guide students to carry out scientific inquiry activities from shallow to deep.According to the results of the comparison,it is suggested that the richness of the section content should be strengthened and the students’ understanding and application of the scientific knowledge should be strengthened in the compilation of the primary school science textbooks;the consolidation link should be added to the end of the unit,the consolidation of the contents should be strengthened,and the comprehensive ability of the students should be raised at the end of the unit;the textbook is in the chapter.In the presentation,we should pay attention to the combination of pictures and texts,while mobilizing the students’ interest in learning while supplemented by the learning of written knowledge.
