Mathematical competition is a non-national competitive activity for the purpose of selecting mathematical talents.Since its creation,it has assumed the mission of mathematical innovation.Algebra,as a branch of mathematics with a long history,rich content,and extremely wide applicability,occupies a large proportion in the math competition.Some algebra test questions have been subjected to more and more mathematical contest propositions because of their strong skill and the flexibility of the solution.The favor of those who have high research value.The algebraic test questions in the math competition are based on the content of the secondary school syllabus,and on this basis can be innovated,even the new mathematics,many new ideas,new methods and new content are continuously introduced into it,to select talents,expand thinking The role has received extensive attention from math educators at home and abroad.The main content of this paper is divided into three parts.The first part is also the second chapter of this article.It is mainly based on the study of the propositional features of algebra test questions in the high school mathematics competition.From the aspects of function equations,sequences,inequalities,complex numbers,and polynomials,the problems of algebra are discussed.The theoretical basis involved and the amount of questions are counted,and the development trend of the algebraic part in the mathematical competition is analyzed.The second part is also the third chapter of the thesis.Based on the specific competition questions,this paper systematically analyzes the problem-solving strategies of algebraic problems and summarizes some problem-solving strategies that can be applied to high school mathematics teaching.The third part is the fourth chapter of this article.Based on the previous two parts,through questionnaires and simulation papers,we can understand the ability of high school students in solving mathematics algebra problems at the present stage,and use SPSS software to survey questionnaires and The simulated test papers are used for statistical analysis.According to the statistical analysis results,four suggestions are proposed from the perspective of teaching,so as to provide reference for the problem solving teaching of algebraic problems in the mathematical competition.
