With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,there are many different versions of textbooks,which are written in accordance with the concept of new curriculum reform,and also endowed with different regional features.This article uses the algebraic part as an example,using comparative research method,content analysis method,statistical analysis method,and interview method.This paper compares the two aspects of curriculum standards and teaching materials for the junior high school mathematics textbooks of the People’s Education Press and the Shanghai Education Edition,and compares the characteristics of the two versions of the junior middle school mathematics textbooks.It strives to provide valuable suggestions for compiling the textbook in Shanghai two-period curriculum reform.In terms of the content of textbooks,we conducted four comparative studies from the structure of the textbooks,content distribution,curriculum difficulty,and example exercises to obtain the following four conclusions:1)In the structure of textbooks,the arrangement content of the junior high school mathematics textbooks for the People’s Education Press is more abundant than the layout of the junior high school mathematics textbooks for the Shanghai Education.In the distribution of algebraic core content,the two versions of junior middle school mathematics textbooks focus on the algebraic part of the content in the seventh and eighth grades.2)in the course of difficulty,through the use of Professor Kong Fanzhe’s curriculum difficulty model obtained that:Shanghai teaching version of Junior high school mathematics textbooks are slightly more difficult than the teaching version of Junior high school mathematics textbooks,but the difference is not significant.3)in the number of example exercises,the number of examples in Shanghai is more than the teaching version of the problem,the number of exercise is far more than the Shanghai education version.4)on the difficult problem,through the use of professor Bao Jiansheng comprehensive difficult math model after a comparative study:The difficulty of the algebra of the junior middle school mathematics textbooks of the People’s Education Press was greater than that of the Shanghai Education Edition.In terms of curriculum standards,both versions of curriculum standards fully embody the mainstream trend of modern mathematics education as "popular mathematics".But the Shanghai education edition puts forward the ability of cultivating students’ "mathematical literacy" and "lifelong learning",which reflects the leading edge of the curriculum standard of Shanghai education.On the basis of comparative study,we put forward some Suggestions on the textbook compilation of the second phase of Shanghai.
