Research On The Status Quo Of Water Playing Activities In Kindergartens

Playing water activity is one of the popular favorite activities for children,in the activity,children use water as an object to found problems,to feel prob lems,to explore problems,gaining experience and enjoying happiness in water area.This research focus on analyzing the status of playing water activities by using methods of observation,interview and questionnaire,mainly including fo ur aspects:the environment setup of pool;the time and frequency of water act ivity;the principal activities and their useful experience in sand and water area;the guidance of teachers.The study found that,there are problems in the foll owing aspects:rules and order are missing;inadequate safety and hygiene;the material is single,old,lack of care and finishing;the purpose of guiding is ex tremely obvious,lack of the guidance strategy;evaluation is not appropriate.Th e objective factors causing these problems mainly mainly include:the space set ting of the pool,the materials supplied,capital investment;the subjective factors mainly include:teachers' biased education values,lacking of the ability of obse rvation and organize activities.According to these problems and causes,this stu dy makes puts forward the corresponding optimization suggestions:first,create suitable water activity environment,including the creation of space,the assuran ce of time and to provide appropriate materials;second,formulate the rules of water activity together;third,teachers improve the ability of observation and provide intervention and guidance timely;fourth,guide water activities based on a ge characteristics of the children,making analyses of the water activity charact eristics on middle and higher class children respectively and proposing the corr esponding guiding strategy;fifth,multivariate evaluation of children' water acti vities,including diversifying the evaluation subject,paying attention to children when evaluating content,valuing the process when selecting the way of evalu ation.
