Painting is a special way for kids to express themselves.The painting teaching activities in the kindergarten can provide teachers more opportunities to stimulate kids' autonomy development.The period of the top class in a kindergarten is the transitional period for kids who come from kindergarten to primary school.During this period,the independence and the autonomy of the children is increasing obviously,and they show very urgent needs for teachers' autonomous behaviors.This research focus on the real state of the teachers' autonomous behaviors which happened during the drawing activities in the top class of kindergarten.The research tool the researcher used is from Deci et al.,Flink et al.and Reeveet al.who together came up with the teachers' 21 instructional behaviors based on an experimental observation.The teachers' 21 instructional behaviors included teachers' 11 autonomy-supportive instructional behaviors and teachers' 10 controlling instructional behaviors.since one of the teachers' 11 autonomy-supportive behaviors “seating arrangement” was not occurred during the real class,the research wasn't concorned about this behavior.The main methods of this research are the observation of the real class and the analysis of the teaching videos toward the teachers' 10 autonomy-supportive behaviors and the 10 controlling behaviors which come from the 10 teachers in the top class of two kindergartens.The researcher collected 20 painting teaching activities and are totally 659 minutes.By doing this,the researcher analysed the present situation of the teachers' 20 instructional behaviors and also compared the differences between the new teachers and the experienced teachers.The researcher also analysed and then concluded the factors that influence teachers' autonomous behaviors and the advices that can promote teachers' autonomous behaviors.This research mainly consist of the following parts:The first part: Introduction.This part is mainly include the reasons for this research,the purpose and the meaning for this research,the definition of the key concept and the review of literature.The second part: research programme.This part is concerned about the aim for this research,the content for this research,the research target and methods and the research tool.The third part: Result and analysis.The researcher counted and analysed the teachers' 10 autonomy-supportive behaviors and 10 controlling behaviors based on the real class observation of the painting teaching activities which happened in the top class of a kindergarten.The fourth part: Discussion.The researcher analysed and discussed the current situation of teachers' 20 instructional behaviors,counted and analysed the differences of teachers' 20 instructional behaviors between the new and experienced teachers.At the same time,researchers discussed the factors which would influence teachers' autonomous behaviors.The last part: Advices and profound consideration.Based on the factors that can influence teachers' instructional behaviors during the painting teaching activities,the researcher come up with some advices which will stimulate teachers' autonomous behaviors during the painting teaching activities in the top class of a kindergarten for the teachers and the controllers of the kindergarten.Researcher also make some profound considerations towards the study.
