Research purposes:Through the investigation and analysis of college students' sports participation,it aims at exploring the impact path of peer groups on college students' sports participation and its correlation.Based on the theoretical analysis of peer groups,a structural equation model of the influence of peer groups on their sports participation is proposed. The structural equation model is verified by empirical investigation. In order to better improve and intervene in college students' sports participation, reasonable suggestions are put forward.Research methods:Firstly, this study analyses the relevant materials through the method of literature review.Secondly,in order to further explore the impact path of college students' peer groups on sports participation,a questionnaire is made based on the group theory. Then, the reliability and validity of the questionnaire are tested, and the final formal questionnaire was used to investigate the impact of peer groups on college students'sports participation.Subsequently,on the basis of correlative analysis of data,a hypothetical model between peer group and sports participation of college students is constructed by using AMOS software, and the hypothetical model is tested and modified. Finally,a reasonable structural equation model of peer group and sports participation of college students is obtained, and the model is revised and explained, and reasonable educational suggestions are put forward. The results are as follows:1.Through the measurement of college students' participation in sports, the data collected from questionnaires show that the amount of exercise of the tested college students is not ideal.According to statistics and calculation, the respondents in this study mainly take small amount of exercise, followed by medium amount of exercise, and the proportion of large amount of exercise is the least.2.According to the results of the model, there is a positive correlation among informative, utilitarian and value-expressive effects on college students' sports participation.3.According to the results of the model, the effects of informative, utilitarian and value expression on college students' participation in sports are not entirely equal. The sequence of the effect of college students' participation in sports from strong to weak is utilitarian, value expression and informative.Research conclusions:1.At present, college students' awareness of sports participation is weak, and they have not formed healthy attitudes, behaviors and habits of physical exercise.2.The larger the impact of peer groups on college students' sports participation, the better the effect of college students' sports participation.3.The factors of the same generation have different impact on college students' sports participation.Utilitarianism has the strongest predictive effect, value expression has the second strongest predictive effect, and informative influence has the weakest predictive effect.
