FIFA World Cup football as the research object,using the documentation methods,expert interview method,video observation method,mathematical statistics method,logic analysis method and other research methods for the French team's attacking and defensive technical and tactical indicators were screened and statistics,in-depth study of the technical and tactical characteristics of the French team,draw the following conclusions:1.The age structure of French players is reasonable and the whole team is younger.Many core players are in the best competitive age stage.The number of left foot and right foot is close,which provides the conditions for the team to enrich tactical arrangements.The formation is mainly 4-2-3-1.The coach is familiar with the characteristics of the team and is good at making flexible tactical arrangements according to the characteristics of the opponents.2.The French team has higher attack efficiency and more scoring points,which increases the difficulty of the opponent's defense.The players have excellent shooting skills and score 4 goals through long-range shoots.In the aspect of passing and controlling the ball,the French team main method is mid-pass.The success rate of long-pass is higher than that of opponent,and the passing is smoother and faster.3.The French team is more quick and direct in the offense,the offensive player is fast and
