Today,"statistics and probability" are becoming more and more important in people’s lives.A hundred year plan,Education is the foundation.Educational reforms continue,and the comparison of textbooks is an important part of educational reforms.The quality of textbooks is of great significance to the development of teachers’ teaching and education in China.In the age of Globalization,it is necessary that conduct international comparative research.As a neighbouring country of our country,Korea has made outstanding achievements in mathematics education in elementary and secondary schools.The comparison between Chinese and foreign versions of primary school mathematics textbooks is mainly concentrated in the United States,Singapore,and Japan,and there are fewer comparisons with South Korea.The field of statistics and probability is the smallest target.Therefore,it is significance that compare the primary school math textbooks in China and Korea.This study takes the field of statistics and probability in the primary school mathematics textbooks(six-three system)of Qingdao Press in China and the primary school mathematics textbooks of Korea Genius Education Press as the research objects.The textbook curriculum standards,writing methods,content settings,illustrations,and materials are compared and analyzed to find the similarities and differences between the two versions of textbooks,and then to make some suggestions for the preparation of primary school mathematics textbooks and the teaching of teachers in China.Through researches,it is discovered that all researches are based on curriculum standards and the basic structure of the text is similar;all researches are based on the unit of writing and focus on the introduction of the situation;the knowledge points are basically the same,but there are great differences in presentation,the national version of the knowledge point division more detailed;both pay attention to the diversity of the columns,but the national version of the column is more innovative,with activities as the main line,more emphasis on the ability to cultivate;both versions focus on the use of illustrations,the national version of illustrations are more abundant,the size and color are better,The visual effect is better;in terms of materials,the selection of materials is more extensive,all focus on sports and emotional education,the national version of the material is more comprehensive.Based on the conclusions we can have some advice as followed:Add interesting columns,focus on the process and experience;divide knowledge points in detail;add no answers to questions to avoid causing students to follow the book;cute illustrations to better stimulate students’ interest in learning;widen the depth of materials,do not keep repeating similar material;Enhance emotional education,whether it is from illustrations,materials or questions,you can choose more content with emotional education.
