Teachers' professional identity is developed from Eriksson's identity theory.It means that teachers accept and recognize their teaching work from their hearts,and can make positive and positive evaluation on all aspects of their work.It is a kind of subjective psychological feeling of teachers.In recent years,the research of teachers' professional identity has attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad.The study of teachers' professional identity is conducive to the development of teachers' career,and to the improvement of the stability of teachers' team and the quality of school teaching.In recent years,in order to promote the development of rural basic education and strengthen the construction of rural teachers' team,the government has promulgated policies such as rural teachers' support plan(2015-2020),National Rural Revitalization strategic plan(2018-2022),so as to improve the weak situation of rural basic education in China.Xinyang City is located in the southernmost part of Henan Province,in the Dabie Mountain area,the old red revolution area.It is one of the 11 concentrated and contiguous special difficult areas in China.Among the eight counties and two districts under the jurisdiction of Xinyang City,there are five poverty-stricken counties,whose economic development is relatively backward,teachers' salary is not high,and teachers' occupation is lack of attraction,which leads to the weak basic education in the countryside of Xinyang City.In the rural schools where the basic education is relatively weak,the subject of physical education is particularly prominent.Therefore,this study takes the current situation and influencing factors of the professional identity of rural primary school physical education teachers in Xinyang City as the research object,through the research methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and mathematical statistics,analyzes the current level of the professional identity of rural primary school physical education teachers in Xinyang City and the differences of professional identity under different background characteristics,and finds out the existing problems,On this basis,the paper analyzes the influencing factors of professional identity of physical education teachers in Xinyang rural primary school.According to the results of the study,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to provide basis for the promotion of professional identity of physical education teachers in Xinyang rural primary school.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.The physical education teachers in Xinyang rural primary school show the characteristics of youth;the academic structure mainly focuses on undergraduate education;the professional title structure and teaching age structure are reasonable;but there are obvious differences in the gender structure.2.The professional identity of PE teachers in Xinyang rural primary school is in the upper middle level,and the four dimensions of teachers' professional identity are not balanced.According to the average score,the following are in order: professional behavior tendency,role values dimension,professional values,professional sense of belonging.3.There are significant differences in different age,professional title,school type,position and monthly income in Xinyang rural primary school physical education teachers' professional identity level.There is no significant difference in gender,professional background and education background,but the average value of female PE Teachers' professional identity water is greater than that of male PE teachers;the average value of PE teachers with PE professional background is greater than that of PE teachers without PE professional background;the professional identity level of PE Teachers with undergraduate education is lower than that of PE teachers with junior college education or below Teachers' professional identity level.4.The main factors that affect the professional identity of PE teachers in Xinyang rural primary school are: social factors,government factors,school factors,teachers' own factors,students' factors.
