Research On The Protection And Development Of Sports Cultural Heritage In Northern Ireland In The United Kingdom

In recent years,sports intangible cultural heritage protection research has gradually become a hot issue of sports humanities and social sciences.Sports cultural heritage has both the characteristics of national culture and the attributes of sports.Gail sport in Northern Ireland is one of the most typical sports cultural heritages in Britain.The Gail Athletic Association(GAA),founded in 1884,has made great contributions to the protection and development of regional sports cultural heritage.It is not only the organizational entity of Gail sport,but also the typical symbol of national cultural identity in Northern Ireland.Gail sports is one of the most important contents in the growth and development of national sports culture in Northern Ireland.It shows important cultural significance on the road of regional modernization and peaceful development.This study takes Gail Sports Association as the research object,and takes Gail sports in Gail Sports Association as a typical case of sports cultural heritage in Northern Ireland.By using the methods of literature analysis and expert interview,the formation and development process of Gail sports,as well as the integration and development process of Gail Sports Association in sports and British sports culture are comprehensively analyzed To further understand the cultural characteristics and values of Gail movement in the identification of national cultural identity in Northern Ireland.On this basis,this paper examines the Enlightenment of the protection and development of sports cultural heritage in Northern Ireland on the research of sports cultural heritage in China,and provides theoretical reference for the development of sports cultural undertakings in China.
