Research On IP Operation Of Jinjiang Literature City

After years of development,IP operations have formed mature operating systems.In China,IP operations are developing rapidly with the formation of a pan-entertainment industry chain.More and more companies and capital joining the IP industry.TV plays and games that adapted from internet-literature have been produced in these companies,which attracted a lot of attention.IP operations mostly refer to adapting internet-literature to TV dramas,movies,anime,games,and peripheral products,which strengthening famous novels’ fan effect through the Internet.Through various types of adaptations,IP operations have expanded original influence and user range and have formed IP brand.IP operations of internet-literature are currently the hottest,they involve much levels of the industrial chain.This article takes the internet-literature website as the research object,and studies its IP operation strategy and mode.We want to understand how it develop IP and the standards of IP quality.We also try to find its problems and come up with solutions.This article takes Jinjiang,a well-known internet-literature website,as an example.We analyze its IP operation strategy,such as operation of content,writers,irrigation ditch and industry chain.This study analyze the IP operating pattern of Jinjiang through various cases and try to find the usefulness for IP operations and development of the Pan-entertainment industry.From overall view,the copyright operation mode of Jinjiang is all copyright operation mode.But the development of single works is completely by spontaneous,which we call it self-styled copyright operation mode.We attempt to propose some improvements to promote the development of IP operations.This study adopts the methods of case analysis,documentary analysis,data analysis and comparative research.Based on the theory of media convergence and Industrial Value Chain after researching relevant literature and consulting data,a comprehensive study on the IP operation of Jinjiang was conducted.Although there are many successfu cases,Jinjiang still exist copyright infringement and IP development issues.Apart from these issues,the operation of industry chain is not mature and it require to be improved.In response to these problems,we have proposed strengthening copyright protection,raising readers’ awareness of copyright protection,and improving the protection mechanisms for intellectual property rights.And we suggest Jinjiang establishing an IP Value Assessment System and increasing the form of industrial chain operations.
