The Design And Implementation Of The Evaluation System Of University Teachers' Scientific Research Ability Based On Granular Computing

With increasing investment in science and technology of our century,the scientific research ability of teachers in colleges is becoming an important index of comprehensive strength in institutions.Therefore,it’s an important task to make a scientific and rational evaluation about teachers’ academic level.With the help of granular thought in granular computing theory,this paper proposes an improved attribute reduction algorithm based on granular degree of decision.Then this paper gives an evaluation process about the scientific research ability of teachers in colleges.After proposing the demand analysis,the design of database and the design functional modules,this paper develops an evaluation system based on granular computing theory.The main work of this paper is as following:(1)Studies an improved attribute reduction algorithm based on granular degree of decision.After analyzing a lot of existed attribute reduction algorithms,this paper gives the definition of information granule sets,measures the granular degree of conditional attribute sets to decisional attribute sets by using granular degree of decision.Then,this paper sets forth the method of computing the importance of attribute and reduction,and gives a corresponding improved attribute reduction algorithm;(2)Discusses the evaluation process about the scientific research ability of teachers in colleges with granular computing theory.Combined with existed methods,this paper discusses the evaluation process,which includes four parts such as establishing college teacher evaluation indexes,data pre-processing,attributes reduction and evaluation rule.Besides,this paper transforms the improvement of the scientific research ability of teachers in colleges into searching for attribute reduction.This paper proposes the designing scheme based on the demand analysis,the design of database and the design functional modules;(3)Develops an evaluation system based on granular computing theory.After proposing the develop environment of this system and the design of functional modules,this paper introduces the development idea of this system.Then,this paper expounds the realizing process about the scientific research ability of teachers in colleges from different users,shows the advantages of granular computing theory’s data processing,and finishes corresponding functions of this system.Based on granular computing theory,this evaluation system has excellence operability,and can comprehensively collect data,timely analyze and response results.Besides,it can update the index system along with real situation,and evaluate total teachers in college by semester or year.Teachers can conclude their advantages and disadvantages by using this system,which can help them to improve their scientific research ability specifically.
