Research On The Influencing Factors Of Academic Information Encounters

The two main retrieval forms of information retrieval are information search and information encounter,but the research progress is different.In CNKI,the author searched domestic and foreign literature on information retrieval with the theme of "information retrieval".The results showed that the proportion of domestic and foreign research literature on information search and information encounter was approximately 20:1.In CNKI,a total of 67 related research literature on the theme of "information encounter" were obtained.Moreover,the research results of information encounter are still in a relatively superficial stage,and the correlation between the studies is not big enough to constitute a systematic system.However,for people engaged in academic research,active information search behavior and passive information encounter behavior can be the same way of information source,so the research value of information encounter is no lower than information search.Therefore,in the research of this paper,firstly,the research results of information encounter in domestic and foreign academic circles are roughly sorted out,and some aspects need to be further studied are pointed out.Secondly,the background,definition,research status and influencing factors of information encounter are introduced.Then,the uncertainty model of information seeking behavior and the three influencing factors of information encounter,namely environmental factor,information factor and personal factor,were used to design the questionnaire,and 11 research hypotheses were proposed.According to the scoring of 11 hypotheses by individual information users,the grey statistical method is used to determine whether the relevant hypotheses are valid,and then the relevant influencing factors are determined.On this basis,the final model of information encounter is formed.In network analysis of the questionnaire and the participants’ integration study found that many people encounter experience very expected encounter can occur in the study of academic information,and information encounter this situation happened in the present and future research can play an important role,so based on the above analysis and research,put forward how to promote the information users can encounter more academic information corresponding strategy.
