This paper uses 2010-2015 Shanghai and Shenzhen A shares 10767 sample observations to verify the relative performance evaluation in the implementation of the contract in Chinese executive compensation in listed companies,the empirical results show that the relative performance evaluation of Listed Companies in China have been widely used,and found that the mining,manufacturing,electricity,heat,gas and water production and supply industry,construction industry,wholesale and retail trade,information transmission,software and information teehnology services industry,the real estate industry,water conservancy,environment and public facilities management industry,culture,sports and entertainment,which has been widely applied in the J0 industry.Also found that the Agriculture Forestry Animal Husbandry and fishery,transportation,storage and postal industry application,leasing and business services in these 3 sectors have not been;secondly,the study of the relationship between executive compensation and the degree of market competition,through the comparison of the eastern and western regions in two,the higher the degree of market competition in the eastern region the executive compensation,the degree of market competition is higher than that of the lower midwest.The higher the degree of market competition,the higher the executive compensation of listed companies.On this basis,this paper studies the moderating effect of market competition on the relationship between executive compensation and performance evaluation.In accordance with the market index of the samples are divided into two groups,the eastern region of the company into a higher degree of marketization,dividing the company in the Midwest for the low degree of marketization,found a higher degree in the market of the eastern region,the enterprise relative performance on executive compensation effects of larger enterprises are more likely to implement relative performance evaluation.Further,manufacturing,electricity,heat,gas and water production and supply industry,construction industry,wholesale and retail trade,information transmission,software and information technology services industry,the real estate industry,culture,sports and entertainment,comprehensive,the 8 industries to support this conclusion;only the mining industry,water conservancy,environment and public facilities management industry,the 2 industry reached the opposite conclusion.In a word,this paper adopts the method of comparative analysis to evaluate the relative performance of different industries and different regions.
