Audit Partner Busyness,experience And Audit Quality

During the audit of the annual report,some auditors who have the right to sign may need to sign several audit reports at the same time,while the human energy is limited,therefore,the auditor's busyness may detract from the audit quality.At the same time,the auditor's participation in the audit process is also the process of accumulation of experience,experience accumulation is an important factor to enhance the ability to practice,and also affect the audit quality.The implementation of the special general partnership system increases the legal liability of the audit partner.The audit partner becomes the principal person in charge of the audit report and assumes legal responsibility for signing the contract.Therefore,the relationship between the auditing partner's audit behavior and the quality of audit becomes significant.This article will sign the audit report of the first sign of certified public accountants named auditors,study on the relationship between auditor busyness,experience and audit quality.The data of Chinese listed companies from 2013 to 2015 show that there is a significant negative correlation between the auditor busyness and audit quality,the auditor's experience accumulation is significantly and positively correlated with the audit quality,and the auditor's experience accumulation is helpful to ease the negative impact of auditors busyness on auditing quality.At the same time,the intermediary effect test shows that the number of signatures of individual auditors has an impact on the audit quality through the accumulation of audit experience,but can not completely reverse the adverse effect caused by the large number of auditors signing on the audit quality.Therefore,limiting the number of audit reports signed by auditors in the same year,and in particular the number of "novice" auditors holding audit business,is one of the effective ways to improve audit quality.
