In today's business global environment organization needs to focus on factors that drive satisfaction among workforce. The purpose of maximizing the potentials of workforce within an organization is to achieve overall organizational success at marketplace.Financial and Non-Financial rewards have been characterized as one of the major source of employee satisfaction at workplace. The major purpose of present study is to explore the relationship between financial rewards,non-financial rewards and job satisfaction in a change cultural and organizational context.Present study is quantitative in nature and researcher utilized primary data collection technique(questionnaire survey)for the study.Present study is conducted in telecommunication sector of Peshawar,Pakistan and sample size kept for the study was 220 employees of telecommunication sector(Ufone,Zong,Mobilink,Telenor and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited(PTCL)).The researcher hypothesized a positive association between financial rewards,non-financial rewards and job satisfaction of employees at workplace and the result of conducted study have accepted this hypothesis. The findings of the present study showed that financial rewards are significantly and positively associated with job satisfaction(?=.326,p<0.01)in telecommunication sector.Similarly, the non-financial rewards also showed a significant and positive relationship with job satisfaction(?=.543,p<0.01).Present research will be useful for the practitioners and policy makers as providence of appropriate financial rewards such as adequate salaries and bonuses, work appreciation to employees.Positive satisfaction levels among employees towards their jobs is directly influenced by utilization of non-financial rewards system at workplace as employees perceive that their basic and self-actualization needs are fulfilled motivating them to perform in more effective manner and helpful for organization to maximize their profit and also increase employee job satisfaction.Although present research contributed enough knowledge but this study is not free from limitation. This research has many limitations.Firstly, variables measurement of "financial and non-financial rewards impact on job satisfaction" is all based on attitude and perceptions of study participants(employees)through a questionnaire. Thus,in data set, there are possibility of many errors existence.Secondly, some employees from telecommunication sector had no time to participate in the survey process due to some reasons which includes lack of time, work load to fill the questionnaire. Some employees were on annual leave and some were absent from work so they were not the part of present study.Conducting a survey to a large number of population and taking a broader context as a base will be helpful to increase generalizability of results obtained from research. However, this was not possible in present study due to cost and time and it is mentioned as a limitation of current study.Another limitation of study is its cross sectional time horizon which means that study collected data on one point in time because of time constraint. It was not possible to collect data on longitudinal time horizon so this is the major limitation of study.Additionally, study used convenience sampling technique due to time constraint and there are many draw backs of convenience sampling. So this is also limitation of present study. The results obtained from present study give very important telecommunication data set for revising their incentive policies and public relations policies direction.
