Since the reform and opening up of C hina's economy in 1978,the economy has continued its rapid growth for more than 30 years. In 2009,it entered the new normal economy and its transformation and upgrading period. The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of C hina put forward the requirement for the comprehensive improvement of people's living standards in the "Struggle for a Well-to-do Society." On the one hand, the ultimate goal of developing the e conomy is to improve the welfare of the people, that is,to increase the personal income of the residents,to effectively raise the living standards of the residents,to enable the people to truly enjoy the fruits of reform and opening up,and to increase the happiness of the people.O n the other hand,in the period of social transformation, people's ideological changes and mentality change rapidly.Under the background that social trust is not high enough to hinder economic development, studying the impact of social trust on personal income has given the government more market performance in starting to improve the labor force. Therefore, this paper attempts to explore and explain the impact of social trust on residents' personal income and provide more feasible suggestions for the government to formulate policies to raise the residents' income level.First of all, this paper systematically sorts out and sums up the research results of how domestic and foreign trust economic implications influence macro and microeconomics and how social trust, which is an important part of social capital, affects residents' personal income. We find that research on the impact of social capital on personal income at home and abroad has a relatively large number of studies on t he perspective of social networks, but the literature on the impact of personal trust on personal income is scarce. Therefore, this article attempts to explore the role of personal income from a new perspective: social trust.Secondly,we collected the theoretical basis for the articles, collected and collated relevant data and data, and used the normative analysis method to make a preliminary estimate of the impact of social trust on residents' personal income.Discussed how social trust affects the personal income of residents. In summary,it is: high trust helps promote the promotion of employment, career mobility, and occupation;high trust helps increase personal investment income;high trust helps improve People are non-cognitive;high levels of trust contribute to increased education spending and indirectly to income. Then we use the CGSS data from 2010 to 2013 to process and analyze data using conventional statistical methods, and establish a multivariate regression econometric model, using least squa res regression, followed by two-stage least squares O vercoming endogenous problems and conducting empirical analysis. After controlling for other relevant variables,we will also conduct group discussions based on whether or not to engage in non-agricultural employment and agricultural employment,as well as group discussions based on different regions. The regression results revealed that:(1)social trust significantly increased the residents' personal income.(2)Social trust In the sample of residents e ngaged in agriculture, the personal income improvement effect is greater than the effect of social trust on the personal income of nonagricultural residents, verifying the hypothesis that social capital is “the capital of the poor”.(3)In the eastern,ce ntral and western regions, social trust has a significant effect on the personal income of residents,of which the western region has the greatest role. Finally, based on the findings of this article,we suggest that the government and society can emphasize the enhancement of social trust.According to the results of this study,we will promote personal income, especially the level of social trust of the residents of agricultural employment and residents in the central and western regions. The specific suggestions are as follows:(1)Strengthen the positive guidance and supervision of cultural education and public opinion.(2)Establish a big data record system for social supervision and credit construction.(3)Improve the legal system and increase the enforcement of the law.
