Branches are the smallest unit of bank business activities,but also the window of the banking service,the development of banking institutions from quality to quantity have made considerable progress.since the 21st century,Internet-based finance is in an unprecedented way of speed to change the customer's trading preferences and habits,made huge impact on the branches business model,the development target and the competitive landscape,at the same time,the bank branches also facing the external competitive threat from the electronic service channel and self-service channels.Therefore,this paper analyzes the value of the existence of branches through the SWOT analysis model,and expounds the main problems existing in the outlets and the necessity of the transofmation.In the view of traditional management mode of the branches,after years of development and change,branches had certain achievement on the service quality and efficiency.On the other side,the inherent defects of branches also lead to insufficient business performance,low customer satisfaction,and difficulty of substance risk control.Base on the analysis of branches,this paper puts forward the core idea of branches transformation,that is following the "customer-centric" reform principles,to conduct a comprehensive adjustment of branches into the bank channel,so that the branches will become an organic part of the banking channel system.Through reasonable coordination to cover customer needs and enhance the effectiveness of channel,taking into account the geographical location of the branches,customer transaction characteristics,future trends and other factors,according to local conditions to adjust the branches function layout,and also explore dynamic layout of branches.Through a reasonable top-level designation and institutional arrangements to set of organic combination of branches distribution,management mechanism,system construction,hardware equipment,and job allocation,etc.In addition,in view of the risk events occurred in recent years,customer identity fraud and illegal stamp are two important risk points in the operation riks management of the current branches.Therefore,this paper proposes the reform ideas and measures pertinently,for reference of improvement of branches operation riks management.
