The new type of urbanization is an important symbol of social progress and modernization in a country or region.It is a necessary process and an effective means to promote rapid economic growth.Reform entered the crucial stage of urbanization construction in our country,the third plenary session of the 18 large and 18 more explicitly pointed out that,China needs to perfect the system of the urban and rural development,the new road of urbanization with Chinese characteristics.First,the article system induces and summarizes the domestic and foreign development present situation and development trend of urbanization,the research methods and research ideas,this paper expounds the urbanization,new urbanization impact on tourism economy,characteristics and related research,explain the relationship between the two to determine the importance of this thesis research significance;Secondly,xinjiang 14 state,city as the research target,focusing on the indicators for building the new evaluation index system of urbanization level,14 state in xinjiang,obtained by calculation,2016 composite scores of new urbanization quality situation;In addition,the spatial measurement model is established and the spatial relationship between geographic locations is studied.Finally,the author puts forward some Suggestions and inspirations through summarizing the problems existing in the development.The following conclusions are drawn from this study:The results of the analysis of the new urbanization level in xinjiang in 2016 show that the empirical results show that the top two regions are urumqi(0.6567)and karamay(0.6305).Higher than the entire border area,yili kazakh autonomous prefecture,hami city,shihezi city and tower city area.Generally speaking,the former cities are mostly located in the northern and eastern xinjiang regions,and the urbanization level in the northern xinjiang region is higher than that in the southern xinjiang region.The overall score in other areas is less than average,but the difference is small,which means xinjiang is now in the stage of rapid urbanization.According to the analysis,the distribution of towns and cities in xinjiang is relatively scattered,and the layout is unbalanced,showing the characteristics of "east high west,low north and low south",and the urban system with the characteristics of oasis.Research shows:(1)it is concluded that there is a significant spatial dependence between the tourism economic development of xinjiang's urbanization region through the calculation of the global index.In the economic development of xinjiang from 2005 to 2016,the overall index of urbanization scale and quality of urbanization is generally rising.Therefore,we can conclude that one of the factors that must be considered when studying the relationship between urbanization development and tourism economic development is whether the spatial effect exists.(2)to establish a spatial econometric model to analysis the result is the size of the urbanization and urbanization quality has a positive promoting effect on the development of tourism economy,they also to the development of tourism economy is faced with both positive external effects and spatial spillover effect and adjacent area urbanization drive will also affects the prosperity of the region tourism economy.(3)Expanding the scale of urbanization by one unit will increase the tourist economy of xinjiang by 0.02 units.When per capita tourism consumption increases by one unit,xinjiang's tourism economy will grow by 0.3 units.When the effective measures taken by the government to control the urbanization scale increase by one percentage point,the tourism economy will grow by 0.46 units.
