N Bank Control Environment Evaluation And Optimization Research

As an important part of internal control in modern entity,The control environment is foundation of Internal Control,which provides the basis for carrying out standards,processes and control node of internal control.It addresses five principles of internal control such as integrity and ethical values of an organization,which has an extensive impact on the overall system of internal control.Deficiencies in control environment will result in significant negative impacts on internal control and management of an entity.This thesis evaluates the defect control of N-bank based on the new internal control framework of COSO 2013.We applied the five principles in control environment to the N-bank case and analyzed its main deficiencies in details including inadequate internal checks and balance,non-standard performance of duties of board directors,insufficient internal audit,incomplete human resources system,etc,.In this paper,we proposed a solution that optimized construction of control environment of N-bank which provides inspirations for the strengthening of control environment construction by switching from policy-oriented to principle-oriented.
