Research On Sustainable Supply Chain Governance Mechanisms Based On Trible Bottom Line

Sustainable supply chain management has got much focus in academic and industry with the background of economic globalization.However,there is no a conclusion of how to deal with the cooperative risk in sustainable context,how to choose suitable governance mechanism,and that how governance mechanism influence cooperative satisfaction and opportunistic behavior amoung supply chain members.Especially,the interrelation between formal contract and relationship governance is ambiguous.Under this situation,the research about the interrelation amoung these variables becomes very meaningful.Based on the summary and analysis of current literature about sustainable supply chain,cooperative risk in sustainable supply chain,governance mechanism,cooperative satisfaction and opportunistic behavior in supply chain members,the empirical results indicate that cooperative risk of sustainable supply chain has significant positive effect on formal contract and relationship governance,formal contract and relationship governance have a significant positive effect on cooperative satisfaction of supply chain members,relationship governance has a significant negative correlation on opportunistic behavior.Considering supply chain sustainability,enterprises tend to use formal contract to coordinate the relationships amoung cooperative partners.Supply chain sustainability moderates the relationship between formal contract and cooperative satisfaction of supply cahin members and between relationship governance and opportunistic behavior amoung supply chain members.Based on the results of empirical research,supply chain members should fully utilize formal contract and relationship governance in the face of complex cooperative risks.In order to improve cooperative satisfaction,enterprises should use both formal contract and relationship governance.This indicates that we should emphasize not only the importance of contracts but also the establishment of business norms and the cultivation of trust.In order to deal with opportunistic behavior,we should strengthen relationship governance while formal contract can not reduce opportunistic behavior.
