Since the reform and opening up,China has begun to implement the policy of internal reform and opening up to the outside world,and China's foreign trade has begun to develop steadily.Nowadays,China has become the largest trading country in the international trade market.With the increasing internationalization and scale,China has set its goal in the pursuit of higher quality international activities in recent years.The "One Belt,One Road" project that is in full swing today is precisely the embodiment of China's vigorous promotion of inter-state trade cooperation,common development,and mutual benefit.Under the strong support of China's policies,China's exports to developed economies have rebounded comprehensively,the domestic regional distribution of international development has become more balanced,new developments in foreign trade have accelerated,and total imports and exports have further increased.With China's strong support for international development,the results brought about by internationalization have become more and more abundant,which has also attracted more companies to look into the international market.According to statistics,private enterprises in all kinds of business entities in China are the main force of China,and family enterprises are an important part of private enterprises in China,accounting for more than 55%of the total number of private enterprises in China.If the family business is defined by ownership alone,the ratio will increase to more than 85%.The uniqueness of the family business has become an important symbol of the family business being different from the non-family business.On the one hand,the family business,like the ordinary enterprise,needs to obtain profits to maintain the development of the enterprise.On the other hand,family businesses also undertake the mission of family continuity.As a business activity with uncertain income,internationalization threatens the.development and continuation of family businesses.Many scholars have studied the factors affecting the internationalization of family business from different angles,including the types of resources and capabilities of ownership models.Most of the previous studies have focused on the organizational factors that affect the internationalization of family businesses,and there are few studies on the individual level.As an important embodiment of the internationalization of family business,internationalization performance will directly affect the family's perception of international business risks and have an important impact on the further internationalization of family businesses.Therefore,this paper hopes to summarize the influence of entrepreneurial personal characteristics on the internationalization of family business on the basis of summarizing the previous research on the internationalization of family business,and then analyze how this influence is reflected in the international performance of the enterprise.This article is divided into five components.The first part of the introduction mainly introduces the research background and significance of this research,and then introduces the research methods adopted in this study,as well as the framework structure of this paper,and finally introduces the innovation of this research.The second part introduces the theoretical background of the theory adopted in this research.First,it introduces the theoretical basis of this research,and then summarizes the existing research on the internationalization of family business.The third part is the hypothesis of this research hypothesis.Based on the second part of the literature,the research hypothesis and research model of this research are put forward.The fourth part is the part of the research design and empirical analysis of this paper.It uses the large-scale empirical analysis method,consults the relevant literature,and quotes the CSMAR database and the listed company annual report database.Combing relevant literature,construct research models and propose research hypotheses,then collect data through CSMAR database and company annual report,and finally use STATA software to analyze the data,draw conclusions and further analyze and summarize.The fifth part is a summary of the conclusions of this paper,as well as a review of the shortcomings of this question and future research prospects.The research results show that entrepreneurs with overseas experience will effectively promote the international performance of family businesses,including the proportion of overseas income and the number of countries with transnational operations,while overseas study experience will only significantly promote the number of countries with multinational operations of family businesses.The increase,the impact on the proportion of overseas income is not significant.On the other hand,when the family business is involved in controlling the enterprise through control,it will have a positive impact on the overseas employment experience of the entrepreneur and the overseas investment of the family business,and the influence on the number of overseas investment enterprises of the family enterprise is not significant,and the family The fact that members occupy the board does not affect the internationalization performance of the family business.The innovation of this paper is reflected in two aspects.Firstly,this paper starts from the overseas experience of management entrepreneurs,studies the influence of overseas experience on the internationalization of family business,and improves the internationalization of family business from the micro level.In the past,the focus on internationalization focused on at the organizational level,this paper focuses on the individual level factors,based on the social emotional wealth theory,and explores the influence of entrepreneurs' overseas experience on the internationalization performance of family businesses in family businesses characterized by family control.Secondly,this article divides the overseas experience of entrepreneurs into overseas employment experience and overseas study experience.The study found that compared with entrepreneurs' overseas employment experience,entrepreneurs' overseas study experience does not affect the proportion of family business overseas income,and only affects the number of family businesses overseas.The overseas experience of entrepreneurs will have an impact on the proportion of overseas income of family businesses and the number of countries operating overseas.On the other hand,it distinguishes the different roles of political connections and social connections in the overseas experience of entrepreneurs.It enriches the logic of the influence of individual experience of entrepreneurs on the internationalization performance of family businesses.
