With China's economic development as the center, vigorous development of industry and the promulgation of policies related to energy conservation and emission reduction, the relationship between economic development and environmental protection remains a key issue. As one of China's high-tech industries, the new energy automobile industry is at the strategic commanding height and is the driving force for the structural transformation of China's automobile industry. For this reason, the Chinese government has issued a series of preferential policies to support the development of new energy automobile enterprises, but with In the past few years, the phenomenon of deception has continued to occur, and whether the original intention of government subsidies has been reached is still worthy of discussion. The effective way for the development of the new energy automobile industry is innovation.Only by continuous innovation can we improve our core competitiveness and improve the competition level of the new energy automobile industry. The existing literature mainly discusses the relationship between the two on the macro level, ignoring the role of marketization. With the acceleration of the marketization process in various regions of China, whether the government intervention is more or more market-oriented,this is in the field of new energy vehicles. The main problem facing urgently. This paper first reviews the relevant theories of government subsidies and innovation efficiency, and analyzes the mechanism of action between government subsidies and innovation efficiency. The government subsidy party increases the innovation efficiency by increasing the R&D investment of enterprises, and on the other hand, the increase of government subsidies will decrease. The degree of effort of the company thus inhibits the improvement of innovation efficiency. In order to explore the relationship between the two in the field of new energy vehicles, the first step of this paper is to study the 82 new energy vehicle listed companies in the 7 years from 2010 to 2016.The three-stage DEA model measures the innovation efficiency value of new energy auto companies in the past seven years. It is found that the innovation efficiency of new energy auto companies has been at a very low level in recent years, mainly due to the lack of management experience and low resource allocation. The second step is to use the tobit model to analyze the impact of government subsidies on the innovation efficiency of new energy vehicles,to incorporate the marketization level into the framework, and to add the interaction between the two, analyze the adjustment of the two,and finally proceed to the ownership structure. The study finally passed the robustness test. The empirical analysis shows that government subsidies have not promoted the innovation efficiency of new energy vehicles. The marketization level is positively correlated with the innovation efficiency of new energy automobile enterprises, and with the improvement of marketization level, the government subsidies will enhance the innovation efficiency of enterprises.Inhibition.That is,in areas with low marketization, government subsidies will promote the improvement of innovation efficiency, and in areas with high marketization levels, government subsidies will be counterproductive.Through group research on the ownership structure of enterprises,it is found that government subsidies enhance the innovation efficiency of private enterprises, while for state-owned enterprises,it inhibits the improvement of innovation efficiency.Based on the above conclusions, this paper suggests:(1)Improve relevant laws and regulations and regulate the healthy development of enterprises.(2)Explore the steady exit mechanism for establishing government subsidies.(3)To increase the subsidies for SMEs and to provide accurate subsidies based on quality.
