Analysis Of Factors Affecting China's Citrus Cost And Income Since China's Entry Into WTO

According to historical data,the history of cultivating Chinese citrus is about four thousand years old,and it is the first country in the world to start cultivating citrus.According to the latest statistics,the area of China's citrus fruit orchards in 2016 increased by 1236.8 thousand hectares compared with China's accession year(2001),reaching 2560.8 thousand hectares,with a growth rate of 93.4%.The total output of citrus fruits increased by 2,604,805 tons compared with 2001,reaching 3,764,272 tons,an increase of 224.4%.As the second largest fruit species in China,citrus has surpassed apples in terms of planting area,and its output is second only to apples.In the case of shrinking apple planting area in China,the area of citrus orchards has always occupied an advantage and is growing continuously.The latest statistics show that China has successfully surpassed the United States and ranked first among the world's citrus fruit producers.Citrus is one of the most important high-efficiency economic crops in China.Its industry has become a pillar industry that drives China's agricultural economic development.It helps Chinese farmers get rid of poverty and get rich.The development of their industries always affects the interests of growers and the health of industrial development.Whether it is directly related to the livelihoods of tens of millions of growers and the economy of China's agriculture.In recent years,although the production capacity of Chinese citrus has been continuously improved,the cultivation area and output of citrus have been steadily rising,but with the continuous advancement of China's urban and rural integration,the price level is constantly rising,the labor cost,land cost and material of the citrus industry.With the rapid increase in service costs,there are still many problems in the citrus industry in China.In this paper,citrus is used as the research object.By consulting the existing literatures at home and abroad and related research data,combined with the statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture,apply descriptive statistics and literature analysis and econometric analysis,since China's accession to the WTO,2001-2016 This 15-year citrus industry data is comprehensively analyzed,comprehensively and deeply analyzing the changes in the production cost of citrus in China,comparing the citrus costs in stages,identifying the main influencing factors that cause the rapid increase in costs,and the different influencing factors.The order of influence is sorted,so that the decision-making layer fully understands the development of the citrus industry,and the relevant scientific research personnel clarify the technical research direction,thus playing a positive role in guiding the healthy development of the citrus industry.According to the comprehensive analysis results,factors such as sales price,household employment discount and fertilizer cost will have a greater impact on the cost and benefit of the citrus industry.
