With the rapid development of Internet technology,the worldwide demand for online games is growing rapidly,which promotes the rapid development of online gaming enterprises.As of June 2018,188 game companies have been listed at home and abroad.The new third board has 147 online gaming companies listed on the market.The existence of a large number of online games listed companies has increased the requirements for the accuracy of financial reports of online games enterprises,and need to strengthen the supervision of online games enterprises.At the same time,due to a large number of teenagers indulging in the Internet and other reasons,the state has stepped up the supervision of online game companies,which makes the listing of online gaming enterprises usher in a cold winter ahead of schedule.Income,as an important index affecting the accuracy of financial statements,has always been an important item that auditors should pay attention to in the process of auditing.In recent years,the frequent fraud is mainly due to the fraud of income,such as Kelon Electric and Oriental Electronics,which belong to the financial fraud cases of fraud and profit increase.The revenue of online game enterprises has not been broken out yet,because of the system risk of relying on the Internet itself,there is the risk of data being tampered with.At the same time,in order to increase the experience of players in the operation of online game enterprises,they often use virtual currency,and the existence of virtual currency increases the income of online game enterprises.The difficulty of recognition,but China does not have a specific guide to the revenue recognition of online gaming enterprises.The promulgation of the new income standards,although to a certain extent helped the revenue recognition of online gaming enterprises,is to a greater extent principled.Enterprises rely more on professional judgment for revenue recognition,which increases the uncertainty of income recognition.Comprehensive above kinds of reasons,net swims enterprise income has bigger audit risk.Combined with the characteristics of online game enterprises,this paper analyzes the characteristics of revenue confirmation of online games,and studies the audit risks of income of online games enterprises by combining the case of revenue audit risks of specific online game enterprises.Through this study,we can find that because of the existence of virtual currency and virtual props,the revenue of online game enterprises has the risk of early or delayed confirmation,and the complexity of sales promotion affects the accuracy of revenue.The existence of long-term unused currency provides the possibility for the earnings management of enterprises.Finally,the trading volume of online game enterprises is huge and scattered,and the accuracy of fair value of virtual props is difficult to confirm.Fixed characteristics for related party transactions to provide possible and so on will become the audit risk of income of online gaming enterprises.At the end of the article,the author puts forward some suggestions on the audit risk of online game enterprises,and suggests that CPA should make use of IT audit when auditing the income of online game enterprises.At the same time,it is suggested that accounting firms can train professionals of online game enterprises to improve audit quality and efficiency.
