| Nowadays,under the macro background of the continued implementation of the international financial situation and the full implementation of the domestic interest rate marketization reform,the traditional profit-making model of the bank has been affected by all aspects.Major banks have also realized that reform and transformation are necessary prerequisites for future banking development.Therefore,major commercial banks have made strategic transformations.The light asset business model is characterized by low capital consumption,large scale of business,and wide development space,which has attracted the attention of many commercial banks.The light asset transformation of commercial banks is also actively exploring,especially in the process of commercial bank light asset transformation,whether it has realized value creation,and whether it can bring long-term profitability to China’s commercial banks.The main question,this is also the focus of this paper.This paper mainly analyzes and sorts out the light assets transformation and enterprise value creation of commercial banks.After introducing relevant definitions such as light assets and value creation,this paper deeply explores how commercial banks should realize value creation.Next,the paper introduces the case of Ping An Bank’s light asset transformation,introduces Ping An Bank’s current strategic objectives and the application of light asset strategic transformation.It finds Ping An Bank’s four aspects in financial technology,personnel training,customer value maintenance and light asset business development.Light asset transformation.Then,under the guidance of the value chain theory and the core competitiveness theory,the value creation evaluation of Ping An Bank’s light asset transformation was completed.By studying the mainstream evaluation methods,from the traditional financial indicators,EVA assessment method and value chain perspective,the value creation of Ping An Bank’s light asset transformation is evaluated.It is found that the light asset profit model can enhance the bank’s value creativity to a certain extent,and the light business system and Light trait assets have a positive impact on bank value creativity.It then summarizes the experience-related implications of the transition to the same industry in the process of Ping An Bank’s light asset transformation.Finally,it is concluded that the light asset transformation of Ping An Bank has achieved a certain degree of success in promoting value creation,and in the future,light asset transformation will become a trend of commercial bank development. |
