Empirical Study On The Impact Of Corporate Environmental Responsibility On Corporate Performance

With the rapid development of enterprises all over the world brought by the industrial revolution,the environmental problems caused by the waste of natural resources by enterprises also spread rapidly into the ecological crisis of globalization.In order to achieve the goal of coexistence of the earth and sustainable development of enterprises,"green" has become the common mission of enterprises worldwide.Past enterprise in the process of production and management pay more attention to the rights and interests of shareholders,the shareholders' benefit maximization,but with modern enterprise management and management separates,the rights and interests of other stakeholders are also beginning to get the attention of enterprises,companies are no longer of resource waste,but actively to environmental responsibility,attach importance to the utilization rate of resources and pollution emissions.Stakeholders' attention to the problems in the enterprise environment also makes the enterprise raise its environmental responsibility to the overall strategic level.How to transform corporate environmental responsibility into corporate performance in the competitive market has also become a new focus of strategic management researchers.At present,scholars' research on the issue of corporate environmental responsibility mainly focuses on why enterprises should fulfill their environmental responsibilities,while few studies are conducted on how enterprises perform their environmental responsibilities to produce corporate performance.On the other hand,most of the existing studies have explored the positive or negative impacts of enterprises' green actions from the perspective of "green",and few have studied the impact of green innovation on enterprise performance.Therefore,the present situation,the author of this paper through the literature review,and the sustainable developmenttheory,stakeholder theory and so on was made on the basis of study in this paper,the research hypothesis,green innovation as the corporate environmental responsibility to have a positive impact on enterprise performance,and subject to the regulation of dynamic capabilities,the stronger the dynamic capability,the stronger the influence of corporate environmental responsibility on business performance.In order to to validate the proposed research hypotheses,research to the enterprise in the form of questionnaire survey data collection technology backbone and high-level management personnel,in northeastern China enterprises on the basis of the 268 valid questionnaires collected,using SPSS 20.0 and Amos software for data description statistics,letter validity analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis verifies the hypothesis,verified the assumption in this paper:(1)the corporate environmental responsibility has positive influence on economic performance and social performance of firms.(2)corporate environmental responsibility has a positive impact on the two dimensions of green innovation: green product innovation and green process innovation;(3)green product innovation and green process innovation have a positive impact on the economic performance and social performance of enterprises in two dimensions of enterprise performance.(4)green product innovation and green process innovation play an intermediary role between corporate environmental responsibility and corporate performance.(5)dynamic capability plays a regulating role between corporate environmental responsibility,corporate economic performance and social performance.This article research conclusion to the field of strategic management and the enterprise has a certain theoretical significance and practical significance,has enriched the effective study of corporate environmental responsibility in the field of strategic management,corporate environmental responsibility is discussed how to effectively translate into green innovation finally embodied in enterprise performance,while increasing dynamic capability in the process of corporate environmental responsibility to perform the important meaning.It can promote enterprises to actively fulfill their environmental responsibilities,improve their competitive position in the green market,and meet the needs of stakeholders,so as to improve their reputationand form the dual harvest of enterprise economic performance and social performance.
