The people is the foundation of the country;food provides necessity for civics;safety goes with first concern for food.How to protect" A Bite of safety" is already an important subject about peopled livelihood.However,In recent years,the fact that the quality safety event of agricultural products usually happens,tells us that the situation about the quality safety of agricultural products is still grim.It requires us to re-examine agricultural mode of production and related regulatory arrangements.The paper thinks that the basic reason of the frequent occurrence of the quality and safety of agricultural products is the quality of agricultural products has the attribute of credence goods,then it causes the asymmetric information in the agricultural products market,and leads the adverse selection and opportunistic behavior.But the theory of industrial organization tells us that under the condition of asymmetric information,the market players can produce high quality products under the restriction of the reputation mechanism.This thesis from the perspective of regional reputation to explore the regional reputation of agricultural products quality and safety of the incentive management,with a certain feasibility and innovation.The thesis recurs to multifarious theories such as information asymmetry theory,game theory,industrial organization theory and research methods like combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis,combining demonstration analysis with criterion analysis,and case analysis methods,struggling to study on the incentive mechanism of regional reputation for the management of agricultural product quality and safety.The main contents of the research include:Firstly,the paper will define the special connotation of regional reputation,and discuss the function of regional reputation,then study the effect of regional reputation on the quality and safety of agricultural products.Secondly,it analyzes the factors that affect the expression of the regional reputation,these factors are the degree of agricultural organization is low,the government supervision system is not perfect,the awareness of consumers' food safety is weak and the land pollution is serious.Then through the means of questionnaire survey,the paper obtain some data and analysis the correlation between regional reputation and the influence factors was verified by Probit probability model.Third,through the analysis of the formation process of the regional brand of "Lishui mountain vegetable",to explore the incentive effect of regional reputation mechanism on the quality and safety of agricultural products.In the end,some strategies for promoting the function of regional reputation are proposed,and the research conclusions are extracted.
