| The “three rural issues” are serious problems that China has been working on for many years, which is also the difficulty of fully building a well-off society. In recent years, although the income level of peasants in China has improved, many farmers are still in poverty.Raising the income level of peasants is conducive to alleviating the three rural issues, conducive to building a well-off society, and to the realization of two-year goals.Additionally, the financial problems in rural areas have always been a key point of the “three rural issues”.Nowadays, more financial resources and financial services are utilized in urban areas, while rural areas are excluded from various financial services and there are not many financial resources and services can be used in rural areas. In,the United Nations officially proposed “inclusive finance” at the International Microfinance Annual Meeting, which is based on the principle of equal opportunity and commercial sustainability and inclusive finance seeks to provide appropriate and effective financial services to all sectors and groups of society at an affordable cost.Indeed, the economic development level of Gansu Province is relatively backward, and the phenomenon of financial exclusion in Gansu Province is more serious. At the same time, there are a large number of poverty-stricken areas in Gansu Province, and the income level of those farmers is low.Besides,in recent years,Gansu Province has also vigorously advocated the development of inclusive finance to reduce financial exclusion. In addition,in the context of a closer relationship between regions, there is a spatial spillover effect between adjacent regions due to the existence of externalities.Based on this,it is of great significance to study the impact of inclusive finance in Gansu on the farmers’ income level from a spatial perspective. This dissertation studies the impact of China’s inclusive finance on farmers’ income based on the existing research results and the actual situation in Gansu Province.First of all, this essay defines the concepts of inclusive finance and spatial spillover, expounds relevant theories, analyzes the influence of inclusive finance and spatial spillover on farmers ’ income. To be specific, inclusive finance and spatial spillover can influence the farmers ’ income level via some effects.Secondly, this essay shows the development status of inclusive finance and the level of farmers’ income in Gansu Province, additionally establishes inclusive financial index, then calculates the level of inclusive development in the cities of Gansu Province in-.As the results present that: on the whole, the development level of inclusive finance in Gansu Province is relatively low,and from the perspective of cities, the inclusive financial index varies greatly among different cities in Gansu, and only Lanzhou has a higher level of inclusive finance.Thirdly, the Moran ’ s I test is used to test the spatial correlation of farmers ’ income level using the relevant data of different cities of Gansu province, and through this model test, the spatial lag model is constructed to analyze the influence of inclusive finance on farmers ’ income. The results reveal that there are strong spatial correlations among cities in Gansu Province, and the Moran’s I scatter chart presents that the main distribution patterns among farmers’ incomes in Gansu Province are high correlation and low correlation. What’s more? As can be seen in the result that there is a strong spatial correlation in the cities of Gansu Province, specifically speaking, the development of inclusive finance in the region can not only increase the farmers’ income in this region, besides, the development of inclusive finance in neighboring regions can also increase the farmers’ income in this region. Finally, from the perspective of improving the inclusive financial services system, this dissertation proposes suggestions and countermeasures from aspects of improving the inclusive financial infrastructure, implementing inter-regional differentiation policies, strengthening financial knowledge in backward areas, and strengthening cooperation between regions. |
