Inventory is an important subject in financial statements.Its authenticity directly affects the status of financial statements.From the perspective of enterprise operation,the inventory accounts for a large proportion of the company's working capital and the circulation of inventory and warehousing is an important part of the company's production and operation,involving the supply,production and sales of the enterprise.Due to the particularity of certain stocks,the phenomenon of misstatement of stocks has become increasingly serious.In the case of misstatement,the proportion of agricultural enterprises is large.In the animal husbandry enterprises,due to the special value of the inventory of biological assets in the inventory of animal husbandry enterprises and the difficulty of inventorying the forages,the auditors failed to implement the inventory audit process effectively.It leads to an increased likelihood of misstatement of inventory and an increase in inventory audit risk.In this case,how to implement reasonable and effective audit procedures to discover the misstatement of stocks of livestock enterprises and reduce the risk of inventory audit has become the focus of the auditing theory and practice.In view of the above situation,this paper takes the inventory subject as the entry point,expounds the research background and research significance of this paper,and sorts out the research situation of inventory audits by scholars at home and abroad.Combined with animal husbandry enterprises,the definition of inventory and inventory audit,special points,basis for confirmation,and the content,process and risk points of its audit are explained.This paper takes the CPA's inventory audit process of Y animal husbandry company as the analysis object,and expounds the key points of CPA's inventory audit of Y animal husbandry company from three aspects: the risk assessment procedure,the internal control test of inventory and inventory substantive test,summarize the problems in the inventory audit process.Finally,this paper makes recommendations on the problems existing in the inventory audit process.This paper studies the current situation of Y animal husbandry company,summarizes the inventory characteristics of Y animal husbandry company,and analyzes the solutions of auditors' related problems in enterprise inventory audit.It is concluded that the auditors should thoroughly improve the risk of auditing,optimize the audit process for Y company's inventory supervision,and attach importance to the application of analytical procedures.It is hoped that auditors can improve the quality of inventory audit and enterprise management inventory.
